Kerri Shying R - # 359 - Mrs Agapanthus

Mrs Agapanthus

A week you labour
 out the front    alone
in the bed of succulents
 pod split
purple multigravida
 my fingers   itch
to peel you back
 take your silver
hymen   bring you
 here   to born

  1. Dear Kerri, I've read this many times today. Gets better each time. Anyway, I think it is beautiful - there is the garden and what we experience there. The poem ends with so much hope.
