Kit Kelen #676 - now I have my own timezone (jetlag series #3)

676
now I have my own timezone
(jetlag series 3)

how am I in this washing machine?
how many cycles to go?

the wave is riding me
white horses home

flat as a board I am
but feel the wave's firm toes

I'm waxed to grip
and will not itch

here I'm with my art
wakeful with what's

in front of my nose
feet up – and curl

into the clock
of where I was

and am, will be
prolegomenon

the grammar
of what I'm doing

an essay in continuous line
a headsup really

for some shorthand truth
of drift into the spots

come colour!
this little pill went to lodging

this little pill's like a hat
and here's the last I take to heart

love to be out like a light
