I have no idea where I'm going. Hell I lost this January don't know who stole that away someone knocks on the front door every two days asks how the fuck I am an ambulance drives me to the Emergency Ward between fourteen and eighteen I get hammered listen to a lot of Floyd and Zeppelin watch lava lamps rotate in living rooms in Avondale between nineteen and twenty one most of it’s a blur I live with a few girls and a skinhead I get trashed at the Zetland spend my dole money on bullets and jugs of beer watch Prisoner every Thursday night when I turned twenty one I was living in a rehab soaking in the hot springs all the locals know I'm one of the crazies ‘cause we all wear yellow wrist-bands and get into the pools for free the next few years hell I can remember the street names – Gloucester St and Worcester street – but that’s about it - and one or two of the chicks I hung with but God knows where they are now ... didn't I sieve through mud looking for weevils work for the dole or something ... next thing I know I’m on a one way ticket to Nepal with a backpack and a few rupees I lose a few more kilo’s can't get the hang of meditation or Buddhism run out of money some random in a Tuk-Tuk drives me to the airport I remember sitting on a Garuda plane and the air hostess asks me: do you want another drink Ma'am? I have no idea where I'm going.

  1. Thank you, dear Kristen. I too could watch this autobio unfold for 2 years...the next thing I know I'm getting into the pools for free, turning 21 again without the option :)

    1. Thanks dear Rob :)) At 121, I could be soaking in the pools for free - not a bad way to live (and with the picturesque South Island mountains overlooking them...)
